The Riverside Arts Academy is proud to offer financial aid scholarships to all qualifying families.**

Over 80% of RAA Students received Financial Aid in 2025-2026.

2026-27 Tuition OVERVIEW

  • Tuition Structure: Tuition is calculated by course unit, valued at $500 per unit. Separate tuition fees apply to each independent course enrollment.

  • Our Commitment to Access: To meet rising costs, tuition rates have increased for the 2026–27 academic year. However, ensuring our programs remain accessible is our top priority.

  • Expanded Financial Support: Thanks to our generous donors, we have increased our household income thresholds, qualifying more families than ever before for robust financial aid.

FINANCIAL AID ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

For Riverside Youth Orchestra and Mariachi Campana de Riverside ONLY:Families may reside anywhere!

For all other courses

  • To receive financial aid, families must live in the City of Riverside (ZIP codes 92501 to 92508). Non-residents may still enroll, but are not eligible for financial aid at this time (except for RYO and MCR).

    • Families must provide proof of Riverside residence via a utility bill or equivalent document. Families can upload this document in the enrollment form.

  • All Families applying for financial aid must have a total gross annual household income that falls within the income threshold for their household size (see chart below).

  • All Families applying for financial aid must provide proof of income via their most recent tax return(s), their most recent W-2 form(s), or three recent pay stubs. Families can upload this document in the enrollment form (provided after auditions).

The Riverside Arts Academy reserves the right to approve exceptions to any and all financial aid policies on a case-by-case basis.

Sibling DIscount

All RAA families—regardless of financial aid status—are eligible for a 30% sibling discount (not applied to the original student).

Please note that families must qualify based on Riverside residence (except for Riverside Youth Orchestra and Mariachi Campana de Riverside) and income to qualify for financial aid.

ADDITIONAL FINANCIAL AID INFORMATION & NUMBERS WILL BE PROVIDED BEFORE THE END OF JUNE

  • STEP 1 - Identify the column that reflects the number of people in your household. This includes children and adults.

  • STEP 2 - Locate the amount of annual GROSS income for the household in the column that corresponds to the number of people in the household.
