We’re excited to announce that Councilman Andy Melendrez has been selected to receive the Community Impact Award for Leadership In The Arts at our Gala on October 18th!
Councilman Melendrez’s vision for RAA, his leadership and unwavering support over the past years has given us hope that we can help achieve the dream of social equality through the arts. He has been a voice supporting the arts and helped make the Riverside Arts Academy, formally Eastside School of the Arts, grow and flourish. He has helped form collaborations with many entities in the city and persons of note in the arts. His energy, positive outlook, inclusivity and absolute “CAN DO” attitude have been appreciated by citizens, officials and our Board members alike.
